If you have courses/modules that you haven't passed and are falling behind in your studies, we recommend contacting a study advisor. (Danish below)
As part of AAU's Quality Policy, the university has a "Procedure for Advising Delayed Students." The study administration follows this procedure and collects data on delayed students twice a year—in spring and autumn. They will email all students who are more than 5 ECTS points behind the expected progress.
The email is sent by the secretary of the study board for your programme and includes the following information:
Students who are more than 5 ECTS points but less than 15 ECTS points behind are advised to contact the study guidance for advice on how to complete their studies. Additionally, there is an offer to contact the study board secretary if you need guidance on issues such as exam anxiety, planning your studies, or other matters.
Students who are more than 15 ECTS points behind (but who have passed at least one module in the past 24 months) are strongly encouraged to contact the study board secretary as soon as possible to schedule an individual meeting. This meeting may be with the study board secretary, the chair of the study board, or a study advisor. The purpose is to clarify and plan how to address missing or upcoming exams.
The goal of the advising procedure is to support as many students as possible in completing their studies.
