The Department of Health Science and Technology (HST) and The Department of Clinical Medicine (KI) are dedicated to developing and quality-assuring health science bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs at the highest international level for the benefit of students and society. We achieve this by integrating highly specialized research environments, committed educators, a supportive study environment, and an efficient and service-oriented administration.

HST and KI collaborate with students, study boards, other departments, faculties, external partners, and Aalborg University's study administration to achieve the following objectives:

  • Continuous and effective quality assurance of educational programs
  • Internationally recognized high-quality research and teaching
  • Collaboration with both international and Danish partners
  • Development of an excellent study and teaching environment
  • Knowledge-based teaching and teaching-based research in a professional context
